WOMAN'S REVENGE;
OR,
THE CAPTAIN OF THE GUARD
A ROMANCE OF THE DAYS OF CHARLES II (1861)

ATTRIBUTED TO

MARY ELIZABETH BRADDON

Robert Lee Wolff suggests in Sensational Victorian (p.119) that Braddon may have written this anonymous novel, on account of her interest in Restoration settings; other than that there is not really any reason to think she did write it.

The first page of the first instalment of Woman's Revenge in the Halfpenny Journal, 1 July 1861.
