The inscription reads:

MARY ELIZABETH MAXWELL,
[M. E. BRADDON,]
YOUNGER DAUGHTER OF HENRY BRADDON, OF SKISDON, NEAR WADEBRIDGE, IN THE
COUNTY OF CORNWALL, AND OF FANNY, HIS WIFE,
AND
WIDOW OF JOHN MAXWELL, OF LICHFIELD HOUSE, IN THIS PARISH,
BORN OCTOBER 4TH 1837, DEPARTED THIS LIFE FEBRUARY 4TH 1915.
"I LOOK FOR THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD, AND THE LIFE OF THE WORLD TO COME."

The grave of Braddon's Daughter, Rosalie Maxwell, who was buried next to her mother. Rosie's full name was Winifred Rosalie Maxwell. She was only 31 years old when she died, leaving a young son - Lucien Austin William Braddon Lachlan (1892 - 1964).
