Daguerreotype of a Father and Daughter by H.C. Booth

This quarter plate daguerreotype was taken in the 1840s and is by Hiram Crompton Booth of the Royal Parade, Harrogate.
When I originally bought this I assumed it was 1850s, but a couple of years later I saw another daguerreotype for sale of the man seated at the same table; I didn't manage to buy it, but the daguerretype had the signature of Richard Beard on a patentee label which would suggest an earlier date.
