Braddon Books Given to the Museum of Richmond

In memory of

Chris Willis

As mentioned on the Sensation Novel discussion list, each book has a bookplate stating the books were given in memory of Chris by friends and colleagues.

I sent the books to Richmond Museum in September 2005. The editions were:

(1) Yellowback edition of Lady Audley's Secret, published by Simpkin & Co. in 1892

(2) Literature: An Illustrated Weekly Magazine, 14 April 1888.
Contains 'A Visit to Miss Braddon's' by Joseph Hatton.

(3) French translation of Aurora Floyd by Charles Bernard Derosne.
Published by Hachette in two volumes in 1863.

(4) German translation of Eleanors Victory by R. Prahl.
Published in 1863.

(5) Yellowback edition of The Day Will Come, published by Simpkin & Co. in 1890.
