The tall grave is the back of George and Catherine Stockdale's.

Who died July 8th [?] 1869, aged 48

Also of George Stockdale, her husband
Born in Tallentine, Cumberland
Died in London, March 17th [?] 1874 [?], aged 73.

Also in memory of Ann Ellis
Eldest daughter of Benjamin Ellis, of Liverpool
And sister of the above Catherine Stockdale
[...] died aged [...]'

George Stockdale was a stockbroker. In 1861 he and his wife were living at 9 Hanover Terrace, Kensington.

The grave on the bottom right is that of Sophia Julia Kemp, the wife of George John Kemp
of Regent Street, Westminster. She died age 31 in 1875. According to the census,
George Kemp was an 'oil and colourman'.

The impressive lion monument was built in memory of John Jackson (1769-1845), the boxer.

Sadly the monument was carved in very soft stone and is wearing away.
It was erected by his many friends and admirers.

On this side of the grave, some of the lead type has fallen off. What remains reads:

'[...] to the memory of
John Jackson,
Born 28th September 1769, Died 7th October 1843.
Also Elizabeth, his beloved
And devoted niece and adopted daughter.
Born 2nd January 1804, died 16th December 1882.
In death not divided.
Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory [...]'
