The Swanborough family grave at Brompton Cemetery in London.
The Swanboroughs (their real name was Smith) were an acting family, and were managers of
the Strand Theatre in London.
The Swanborough family grave consists of a large cross and three flat slabs of stone,
surrounded by an ornate iron fence.
Mary Anne Swanborough, William Henry Swanborough,
Ada Swanborough, Edward Swanborough and Eleanor Bufton Swanborough are buried. For

I couldn't see a name on this one. It looks as if a name plate may be missing at the top.

Who departed this life
September 22nd 1867
In her 35th year'

Their daughter Emma is also buried here.
Christian Ritter was born in Prussia, Germany, and became a British citizen. In the 1861 census he was
living in Hammersmith and described himself as a cook and confectioner. By 1881
he was an hotel proprietor, living in Chiswick with his second wife Emma and family.
