In the 1901 census, when he was 13 years old, Royston was a pupil at the
Abbey School, Beckenham, in Kent.
In the 1891 census he was living with his family in Kingston Upon Thames,
Surrey, at Victoria Villa, 87 Victoria Road.
His father Francis A. Le Blond was a wholesale stationer.
