'Family grave of John Nevil Maskelyne'
I assume this must be the grave of the famous magician, John Nevil
Maskelyne.
One of the other names, I think, says Harriet, and this is probably Maskelyne's
mother.
On the tablet next to the anchor it reads something like:
'To the memory of
Two good women
Dear to all who
Knew them.'
The mausoleum of W.H. Fletcher
The grave of Frederick Leyland.
Leyland and his wife were wealthy art collectors and patrons.
They took a great interest in Whistler and Rossetti, and their daughter married
the artist Val Prinsep.
The Prinseps are buried close by (see below).
Frederick Richard Leyland
The grave of Valentine Prinsep and Florence Prinsep.
Unfortunately the carved section seems to have been made of some sort
of concrete,
and it has not weathered well.

The private and family grave of
G. Sangiorgi
This may have been Giovanni Sangiorgi, an Italian restaurant owner, listed
in the 1891 census.
